Hi! I am Vicki Housel a mixed media artist living in Las Vegas, Nevada. I love painting with watercolor, drawing with ink and creating wire sculptures. I am inspired by my travels and the people I meet. When I am asked what I do for a living I often reply: I am creative on the right and left side of my brain! After the inquisitive look I then add, I am a CPA tax accountant and an artist. My dream is to travel and paint most the year.
Once every 3-4 years I generally have a one man art show. I belong to the Art From the Heart Coop in Las Vegas (Alexander and Teneya) and the co-op hangs a new show once a month with members being allowed to hang current work, commonly with a theme. I am currently working on a series of Las Vegas landmark paintings.
I had a wonderful professor say to me: Dare to dream! May your dreams become reality!
